Fall Color Paddle: Zoo to the Market

Get the fall effect at River Town Adventures. They are offering special Fall Color Paddle Packages! Zoo to the Market: 3 miles, 2 ½  Hours PARKING, CHECK-IN, AND SHUTTLE LOCATION: Lansing City Market Drop in to the wide and shallow section of the Red Cedar River from Kruger’s Landing east of downtown. The shallow Sycamore Creek delta/floodplain require some tight handling but is navigable for even the novice paddler. Take some time to explore the branching creek and you will find deer, waterfowl, blue heron and turtles.…

From there, the narrow and winding Red Cedar will take you past the famous Sparty statue and around Old College Field. If you hear a ding keep an eye out, a Spartan home run might be headed for a splashdown.…

St. Jude’s Fundraiser

On Friday, October 20, 2017, from 5 pm until 7 pm, the Waterfront will host a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Hospital. The Waterfront will be discounting Miller Lite and Coors Lite pints and donating a portion of the proceeds to St. Jude's. Please join us, as this wonderful opportunity to donate to this fantastic organization. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
