Greater Lansing Food Bank

Lansing Roots Farm *CSA starts 7/7!

Lansing Roots offers an option for community members to support our growers through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, allowing consumers to purchase a vegetable “subscription” at the beginning of the season to receive 16 weeks of fresh, healthy, and local vegetables from July through October, available for pick up at the Lansing City Market. We also offer our diverse array of vegetables at the Lansing City Market on Thursdays from 3-6pm.

Lansing Roots is a program of the Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB), designed to help beginning farmers from the greater Lansing area begin successful farming enterprises through an incubator farm setting, providing land and infrastructure, farm resources, mentorship, technical assistance, and access to our marketing collective. We work with farmers of all backgrounds with a special focus on under-served populations with limited resources. Our 12+ farmers grow all produce using natural and sustainable methods on our farm in Mason.
