- This Saturday, we’ll be hosting Wild Ones’ Red Cedar Chapter and their Native Plant Sale! A nice selection of perennial wildflowers grown by Wildtype Nursery will be available. We will have plants that support pollinators and milkweeds for Monarchs! These plants are free of the neonicotinoid insecticides found at some retail outlet stores. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter continue our educational programs and provide grants to help establish native gardens and fight invasive species in the greater Lansing area. Thank you for your support!
- From Sunday, May 21st through Wednesday, May 31st, the photography of Robert Killips will be on display at the Market. - This June, we will be a pick-up location for the Greater Lansing Food Bank’s Lansing Roots CSA program! Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a direct “vegetable subscription” program that connects farmers and consumers just like you. Farmers receive funds from their “subscribers” early in the year to purchase materials to grow the crops; subscribers then receive the produce throughout the weeks of the CSA. So please, sign up now here: http://greaterlansingfoodbank.org/roots-csa/.
